BIOGRAPHY

Emmett Stallings is a rising clinician, teacher, and performer who has played his way around the world, performing throughout Europe and most of the lower 48 states. He has also served as a guest instructor and a performer at the Music and English Institute in Quereterao, Mexico, combining drum set fundamentals and basic rudimental techniques with ethnic and modern percussion styles. His other activities include instructing high school drum lines in Georgia and South Carolina and teaching private students on drum set and concert percussion techniques. He has recently published a basic drum set instruction book for Camp Jam’s rock music camps and has appeared as a guest performer and clinician in conjunction with many choral and musical performances across the southeast.

Emmett is currently performing with the country band The Ranchhands, whose international tour has put them in sold out venues in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Back home, they play to crowds from Maine to California. His energetic performances have caused him to be a desirable studio musician in Nashville and have led to his work with many dance ensembles throughout the southeast. When in town, he is in residence with the Epiphany dance company, Nashville, Tennessee.
